62 Passengers From Hell You Will Be Glad Didn't Sit Next To You
872Kviews
Think of the most unusual (or disgusting) scene you've ever seen on a plane flight. Now imagine sharing that with more than 745,000 followers on Instagram? This is how "Passenger Shaming" works, an Instagram account dedicated to spreading the most bizarre moments and bad manners seen on flights - and recorded by passengers or commissioners.
The public shaming site was started by Shawn Kathleen — a mom, former police officer and paramedic who worked as a flight attendant for seven years. She came up with the original concept and started the brand on her own approximately five years ago. It has since been featured in most media outlets across the globe and was named one of the “Best 100 Instagram accounts" by Rolling Stone Magazine.

I guess the parents might have been asleep. Could have been a 12 hour flight and the kid was trying to keep themselves busy and not wake mum or dad.

Boy! Flying these days looks horrible! And to think being a flight attendant was my teenage dream job! I remember traveling with my father in the early 60s, when you wore nice clothing, and acted respectably. Now the staff has to deal with these awful passengers.

Well, flying got much cheaper, so it's not a very special experience now. Standards have fallen pretty low, but I'm not sure it's entirely the passengers' fault. Airline companies do their best to make flying less and less convenient and comfortable, so it's no surprise that some people just don't give a shit anymore... Personally, I avoid economy class if I can now. Only because the quality of services is so low... Wasn't the case when I started flying intensively 15 years ago. Load More Replies...
I would love to be able to avoid economy class too... Though when you see the pictures or even give a look at the state of the business class when exiting a flight, you see that the problem comes from the passengers and not the services. I am also pretty sure that the people who think that it is OK to put their feet on your armrest in a plane are the same who do it at the cinema as well...
Behaving like a pig with no consideration for people around you has nothing to do with the company or how cheap the ticket is - you're either a decent human being who knows how to behave or a selfish twat with no manners
@Bepina Indeed. But I must admit that when I have to spend 12 hours pressed like a lemon and with mediocre service, I tend to forget about good manners... But I'm not disgusting like in the pictures, that's true. @FloC I avoid it when I can, which is almost never. Last time I tried avoiding it, I ended up in Premium Economy, which is just a fancy name for standard economy like it was 10 years ago. Actual economy is a nightmare. Filthy thieves!
Yep. Welcome to the future, we have horrible humans and lack of respect for you :-P
